xHarbour.org has been updated with the new xHarbour builds Rev. 10283!

ADS uses version 10 for 32 and 64 bit now. Removed ADS DLLs.

Yes, I know how to build [x]Harbour ADS libraries. Ok, I will make new [x]Harbour builds as soon as possible.

Enrico, as Tim say we need (x)harbour with rddads.lib and ace32.lib (or 64 version), but to build (x)harbour libs need redistributable package.

If there will not be other opinions, I would remove ADS DLLs from the [x]Harbour distribution packages. Are you all agree?

Ok, I will not touch the current builds for now but will wait for different opinions.

Anyone who uses ADS already has those files. They are in the redistributable package that was included with the ADS SDK. You do not have to rebuild anything in the .lib files and you also don't really have to include those files. ...

I'm not clear. Do I have to rebuild [x]Harbour with the ADS files provided by NWKL (sorry, I don't know your name) and add axcws32.dll/axcws64.dll to the packages? Please confirm.

... There is also 64 bit versions of those files. As Reinaldo pointed out ( and he is probably the best source ), if you use the .dll files from ADS 10, then everything should work ok. I tried his suggestion here yesterday and it worked fine for me while using the ADS 12 Client Server installed ...

A question: what is axcws32.dll for? Is it required to use ADS remote server? Please confirm, so I will add it to the [x]Harbour builds.

Enrico, sorry, i use ads in legacy app in 32 bits, i dont use this in (x)harbour)/fwh 64, so i cant help, maybe someone using ads with (x)harbour 64 can help us.

Received, thank you. The 32bit files are identical to mine, so xHarbour 32 bit should be already ok. The 64bit files are different. Can you confirm that I have to use yours to build [x]Harbour? Do you want my files to check them there?
