Big YES.
Good idea is to hide the folder even.

... net bloat of having to install Visual Studio. I am watching this thread to see if anyone can create a working BuildxM using xHarbour MSVC 2017 and Andi's MSVC binaries. Thanks Rick Lipkin

Thanks for taking a look at my struggles ... I downloaded Andi's binaries and went to Mels's site and downloaded xHarbour for MSVC 2017.

Perhaps there is a clue somewhere in this mix.

Still no joy here on using Andi's MSVC 2017 command line binaries .. I would appreciate if someone would download the binaries at the top of this thread and try to modify BuildXm to compile and run Tutor01.prg

I have exhausted my options on a working compile.

That's what I am looking for
It seems you must also link:

1) CT.LIB or whatever the name is, it is xHarbour's Clipper Tool Lib.
2) GDIPLUS.LIB, it is MSVC Lib.

I think it should be OK by now:)
