Re: WMI / FOR EACH / does "Property" Exist ?

i have to use it for every "Property" to CATCH Error

Yes.
Better we make a function with TRY/CATCH
under Xbase++ "Property" aof COM/ActiveX are same as Member VAR (DATA)

That's nice. Good to know.
What about HMG?
ps: I am asking because I never used them

Re: XBROWSE 15.12 Challenge

... index expressions. BTW- you could use your other indexes to create even more complicated and interesting filters. Finally; you could use the AOF expression even if an index does not exist, but that would make the browse very slow. Hope that helps; Reinaldo.

Re: TXBROWSE ¿Cómo acelerarlo en mi caso?

Carlos,

Mil gracias.

Re: Advantage Local Server over network

Dear Mr. Roman,

I'm using ALS too over network.. I haven't experienced such problem.. But take a look at AOF's if you have one.. 'ADS_RESPECTFILTERS' usually the culprit of slowing browses..

Re: Fulltextsearch (to Marco Boschi)

... the free local ADS version is (very) slow for larger tables, specially regarding FTS :( So for LAN-users with a running ADS - not ALS -, FTS with AOF is the best. For local users, it's better to buy an ADS licence - running a local ADS - or use 'DBFCDX' with WildMatch. Using WildMatch with ADS ...

Re: Fulltextsearch (to Marco Boschi)

Have you looked at FTS indexes in ADS? The free local ADS version works perfectly with dbf/cdx file pairs. These indexes can be used on AOF's() and are very very fast.

Re: Question about XBROWSE

If the filter can be resolved with the indexes using Comix's Clipmore, Six's Mach Six, or Advantage Optimized Filters (AOF) then yes it is very fast. The important part is the level of optimization. If the filter can be completely optimized using the indexes, if Comix's rlOptLevel() ...

Re: ADS - recno() con query SQL (SOLUCIONADO)

Saludos

Re: I'm looking for some advice/suggestions.

... immediate. But if you need to work with a result set of more than a few thousands, then I suppose it would be better to set an optimized filter (AOF -Advantage optimized filter) based on an index (CDX or ADI work better than NTXs). Here is a link that explains how to use an AOF: http://devzone.advantagedatabase.com/dz/WebHelp/Advantage9.1/advantage_concepts/advantage_functionality/advantage_optimized_filters.htm ...
