Antonio, The problem is no longer on my ARM machine. However, my client says it is still on his Intel i7 Computer. That makes it even more complicated. It is not that I missed to copy a file. It must be that some .dll on there wasn't current. ...

Re: xBrowse - Dates - FWH 2310

Unfortunately, I think it got more complicated than that. First, clients who have the problem were not using ARM computers. I was able to see the problem using mine ( C2 below ). Computer 1 ( C1) is my primary programming computer. I am running Windows 11, 23H2. Builds are done ...

Programming with the M1 Mac

It would appear that ARM architecture is certainly going to dominate a lot of hardware sales in the future. As Windows developers, we write code designed for the Intel x86/64 operating systems. However, now even Microsoft is embracing ...

Re: Crossover 21.1

... because I have customers ask about using an Apple computer. I think I should know both systems well. I wanted the new Air because it has an ARM processor, and I think we will see far more of those in the future because of their low energy use. I work mostly on my iMac, but I use Remote Desktop ...

Re: Crossover 21.1

... for the latest version. I am receiving an M1 Macbook Air with 8GB RAM / 512 GB SSD. Parallels really needs 16 GB of RAM, plus it requires the ARM version of Windows. The appeal of Crossover is that it would work fine with the 8GB, does not require a virtual machine, and would use far fewer ...

Re: compiling program on M1 chip

Dear Rene,

It seems as you restored xcode from Time Machine, thats why it does not work as it is, and a new xcode installation is required (M1 architecture is arm)

Once finished, we will rebuild Harbour and FiveMac and it should be working fine again :)
