Will All Socket Programming Fail After June 2011.

They are expecting to run out of ip addresses in the ipv4 format about June 2011.
When will fivewin support ipv6?
Should I look for an other solution for socket programming.
Thanks

Hi Enrico,

Nice to read you my friend ! :)

... been added as an additional protocol... along with the traditional IP v4. I have seen older HUB and switched network topologies that do not like IPv6 .. try diabling the IPv6 protocol on one of your Vista machines and see what happends. Let me know Rick Lipkin SC Dept of Health, USA
