... the loop from masterdbf every new item is added to temp, or cummulated with 1 afther the loop, display a browse with the result. Works ok... But Ive seens samples where there are functions being used like AEval(), .... and others that seems to be able to do this stuff in only some small lines ...

Gunther, The tests Ive made with Mysql and reserved keywords as field name its working ok. You cant use those keywords in triggers, procedures functions etc but should be ok as field names as they are special quoted in all expressions. ...

... to do it you will have to look at the code or build a small function to do it auto for you but then you must to run all routines. In this app Ive ported was not the case as it had already a function to take care of all this so it was extremely fast. Go forward.

... application life time. However its not too slow its still workable. Indexes with UDFS with a while clause depends of the size of the range. I hope Ive made it clear.

Lucas,

Ive made a small and I think that we cant use :find on :filter dont know why and its doesnt make sense but all indicates to that.

After using :find with :filter recordset goes nuts.

Does Mr. Rao knows anything about this ?

Ill try tomorrow a workaround.

... check state here  adordd creates the index but does not opened. You must issue SET INDEX TO. Isnt this the normal procedure with other rdds ? Ive post a function to check the state of all tables in previous post. Can you use it there and see.
