You didn't understand. The function HB_DIREXIXST() of xHarbour works fine but FWH redefined it uncorrectly. Now it should be ok.

... for instances of SEEK and DBSEEK There were no re-defines in any of those It is strange that clearly, as shown by the PPO, that :seek is being redefined, but just how seems to be avoiding us.

I was looking for a "cleaner" display ... but decided to go a different route.

I redefined my control from LTEXT to CTEXT and added the border to the resource ( in the .rc, WS_BORDER )

It looks decent and will work OK ...

I had no consequence for deleting winapi.ch.

When including it, the .mak script returns lots of warnings as values are redefined.
Without it, there are no warnings.
So far I see no difference in appearance or performance.

So it appears to be OK ...

You can not assign a value to a value, so it seems as the error is correct. It is like doing:

nil = nil

Anyhow, if the returned value is an object with a redefined "=" or ":=" operator, then it should accept it

If you prepare a small self-contained example of a dialog with a REDEFINED RichEdit control, I can see if it is possible to integrate the BAR CONTROL.

I use a similar script, but I tried yours. It won't recognize the .dll functions ... I would need how you redefined them to test the same code.

This feature is not yet implemented in redefined controls

Implement in redefined controls is more complicated so I'll leave it for the end.
