Re: Strange characters going from FWH to Outlook FWH 13.10

This has nothing to do with ANSI/OEM issue even remotely.
This issue is about ANSI / UTF8.
We will get back to you soon.

Re: CLASS modification

... no one is going to write up a complex, multi-page work order, with perhaps 20 or 30 parts, from their phone. If they want to work on a computer remotely, via the internet, no problem. They do that regularly with what we have setup. You have every right to be proud of what you are doing, but ...

Re: Backup from inside FWH program

... If my client gets attacked, I have them do a complete reformat of the system ( and any attached computers ). I can then reinstall the software remotely in a matter of minutes, and restore from the latest backup. Annoying to their business, sure. But the thieves don't get any money, and my client ...

Re: Very strange problem - ideas needed

The .exe is not corrupted. I actually copied a brand new file to that machine remotely with the same result. Yesterday I copied their complete database set to my computer, ran the routine for the month that isn't working, and it performed perfectly. I suspected ...

Re: How many time my application is run in memory (SOLVED)

Hello Jimmy,
maybe you can just explain what the difference is between RDP and run remote as described here?

Where is the screen displayed when "Run remotely".

Kind regards
Otto

PS: What about a Tirol holiday?

Re: A big hit: Neither Apache and mod_harbour are needed

Dear Marco,

You only need one harbour exe and you use it from the web browser (Chrome, edge, etc)

You can use it locally accesing localhost from the web browser or remotely given its IP address.

It's very simple and this allows to build web apps using Harbour very easily :-)

Re: Is my app being used by RDP ?

Dear Antonio, Thank you for your answer. I'm not sure I understand "running remotely" correctly. I open a RDP session and then I start my program in the remote session. Is that correct? Now I have first started the exe with WTSRegisterSessionNotification- ...

Re: Is my app being used by RDP ?

Dear Otto,

You have to run your EXE remotely (on the server) using RDP, then it should MsgInfo() about it

Also it may be worth to try the Harbour function WIN_OSISTSCLIENT() --> lYesNo that should also behave in a similar way,
though the above solution is far more complete

Re: Ammyy : A free remote control software. No IP forward req.

Yes, Ammyy Admin is a good remote desktop software. Alternatively, you may have a look at on premise R-HUB remote support servers for remotely controlling computers from anywhere anytime. It is easy to use and works well.
