Re: FiveTouch FAQ

Roger,

FiveTouch uses QT so QT resources management applies here:

http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/resources.html

In our tests, we are building the screens from source code.

Also you could use a QT designer and copy the coordinates of the controls you place on the screen.

Re: EasyReport: We have a deal !!! :-)

Antonio,

Regarding refunds if the money can't be raised, your answer is good enough for me. I'll jump in.

Re: EasyReport: We have a deal !!! :-)

Roger, If we are not able to collect all the money, I have a few customers that may be interested in helping, and my plan would be to contact them. Anyhow I would rather prefer that we do it ourselves so we don't get any obligation ...

Re: EasyReport: We have a deal !!! :-)

Antonio,

Great news indeed!

Question: what happens to the donations if the full amount is not raised within a reasonable time? Will the donations (investments) be refunded?

Re: Error E0030 problem and solution

Roger,

Thanks for sharing it.

My advise is to migrate to Harbour, or at least, try to compile that code that fails with it, so you can see if there is a difference.

Re: Network Issue

Jeff: As Tim & Roger has explained you'll reap a lot of benefits from using CDX indexes. Filters ARE ALWAYS slow. Use SCOPES and INDEX. With an INDEX you can do incremental searches. Index size on CDX are way smaller than NTXs. ...
