Thank you for your responses. I have been investigating further and found the Windows Server 2019 does not allow for "unattended" access to open XLS through scheduled task. I will ask customer to change format to CSV and read as text.

... any conflict with TMySql. Your above program works. However you can totally simplify the backup program and run it silently in the nights as a scheduled task and forget about it.

Change user account to SYSTEM
Select Run whether user is logged or not., etc
and uncommand that Task Ends after 3 days.

I have a strange problem. I have an application that works fine if I run from Windows Server 2008 R2 command line or via desktop. However, if I try to run via Scheduled Tasks, the application hangs. Has anyone run in to this problem and were you able to resolve problem.
