... we can trust the Windows OS to flush its own buffers to the physical disk safely even in case of unexpected shut downs except in extremely rare situations. So, I believe that COMMIT does not do anything extra.

No, as far as I know. It is the network system responsibility to handle those situations with the system buffers.

Reason for closing DBF file

Hi,

A DBF file is open (use MyFile). In some situations, it closes for no apparent reason. Is it possible to catch the moment of closing the database and find out what caused it to close ?

I have this xbrowse

can the end user select the cells with the mouse and if he press ctrl + c copy the information into memory to paste it into notepad or in other situations?

how can i make the user do this?
