I did not realyse that some settings can slow down Xbrowse. In my case always dbf's.

Are there more settings to consider turning off ?

What are the best settings (to change) for best speed ?

... or Resedit.exe itself is corrupted. Do you have a backup copy of Resedit.exe or can you download it again? Also, I would try rebooting and turning off your antivirus temporarily, and then trying to run Resedit.exe again. James

... a different computer. Maybe there is a conflict with the computer you are currently using. You could also try rebooting your computer. Maybe try turning off your antivirus just as a test. Regards, James

... that oBrw:SetoDBF() does, so you don't need that. Take it back out. I also see that in your first post, the database was skipping as it should. Turning off the buffer should not affect skipping the records, so I am guessing that this is a TDatabase bug. I suggest you contact Nages about it.
