If you have a chance and are inclined, take a look at Autumn Lamonte's Jexer text-mode library, and her Java IDE. It's all designed to mimic Turbo Vision, and is stunning to look at.

Sadly there was no interest about it so we stopped its development To me its a very nice environment quite alike to Borland Turbo Vision, based on official Harbour classes, but users are finally who decide what to use and support If you want to enhance it and need my help, I will gladly ...
