installed cvs
installed bison
created checkout.sh
it seemed to run fine
ran make_gnu.sh
Lots happened but got a series of errors with messge:

Code: Select all  Expand view

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lrtl
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Any suggestions?

Once you have done the checkout, go to the created folder xharbour and change permissions of make_gnu.sh:

chmod +x ./make_gnu.sh

then simply do:

./make_gnu.sh

BTW, you need to have bison installed:
sudo apt-get install bison

... download the xHarbour Linux source (although I had to do it from Firefox as the cvs approach didn't work for me). Then I used apt-get to install bison because that caused make_gnu.sh to fail. But make_gnu.sh is still failing. I tried redirecting output to a textfile to send to you but it didn't ...

En realidad hice una copia de make_b32.bat y lo modifique ya que el directorio de bison en mi pc es distinto al que viene indicado.

Posiblemente necesites una versión actualizada de Bison.
