I'd like to have a dialog with a TAnimate object (example the copy files di windows) during massive dbf operations. The animation doesn't start, the only way to make it move is placing various sysrefresh() during dbf operations. Is there any other ...

I can confirm this behaviour.
It occurs on XP pc's with and without themes.
The problem is that it does not occur allways; I have situations where (on the same object) sometimes the rectangle (visible focus) is present and sometimes not...
