Re: List of existing variables used

... are the hardest bugs to find. I think it is best to just get rid of them. I haven't used them in more than 10 years, maybe more than 15 or 20. Stamp them out. And you can store all PUBLICs in a static var in a function. The var is a class which contains all the vars you need. So, for instance, ...

Re: OT: URGENT - Need Input

Just because the file has the same name doesn't mean that it will be authorized. The time/date stamp is different, the size is different and the checksum is different; all classic signs of an infection. See also my edit to my previous message.

Re: URLDownloadToFile question

Marc,

understand.

Or you add a date/time stamp to the update file name, like "..._20120210-124651.exe"

I've forgotten to mention, that choice.exe is not present on every (XP) system, so you have to deploy a suitable one :!:
I'm using the version 5.2.3790.0 without problems.

Re: question about Dates

Even that string also works.
Please try using the function with different combinations. Just make sure that the time stamp is not included.

eg. October 23rd 2001 works

In the next revision any strings will be handled.
