... http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh700394 Note that these font specs are for Windows 8 apps in general, not specifically for tiles. In your app there is no way to set the font type. According to the Windows 8 specs you must use the Segoe UI font, but since that doesn't exist ...

Re: Metro interface questions

There are some very specific specifications for Metro style. For example, the font type, font size, text placement, text color (only one color), icon size (30x30 pixels), etc. that we should keep in mind.

Re: OT. Windows 8: una opinión favorable

I would not be surprised at all if Win8 SP1 would not have the option of allowing the user to chose a 'classic' desktop or 'tiles' ..

Re: METROPNL need some more work

Glad the problem is resolved.

There is still one issue you raised that horizontal drag of tiles should not result in movement of the tiles. We shall attend to this ASAP.

Re: METROPNL need some more work

If I click 1 cm under “VAT” and then drag to the right side the tiles move to the left

When I tested the touch.exe here the tiles move right, not left. Are you sure you are linking unmodified version of fwh library?

Re: METROPNL need some more work

Please try metrptst.prg in the samples folder.
When dragged with mouse in the window area, the paper (tiles) move along with the mouse (finger). Not in the opposite direction.
I am not able to understand the problem.

Re: METROPNL need some more work

Hello Antonio,
here touch.exe has a wrong behavior.
If I click 1 cm under “VAT” and then drag to the right side the tiles move to the left. But in original WINDOWS 8 start screen the tiles move to the same direction. It is like if you would drag a paper.
Best regards,
Otto
