Re: display of fonts used in browses

Thanks to the work of Manuel we have the solution for the blurry fonts. In the app-folder there should be a file named Info.plist. When building an app with the build.sh command this file is added automatically. But this file needs the next lines: echo '   <key>NSHighResolutionCapable</key&...

Re: display of fonts used in browses

Hello Antonio, I don't think that the SetFont is the solution. I have tried several fonts in my browse, but it makes no difference. I als played with the smoothing option as mentioned on you link, but that also makes no difference. Check the images: No smoothing: http://www.plantenkennis....

Re: display of fonts used in browses

René,

It seems as it is a Mojave issue:
https://eshop.macsales.com/blog/46527-is-macos-mojave-making-some-fonts-blurry-heres-how-to-fix-it/

The solution would be to use a font that is standard to Mojave using method SetFont()

display of fonts used in browses

Hello Antonio, The last day I got some complaints about the sharpness of the fonts used in browses and on buttons. If you look carefully to the sharpness of the font in a browse it is not so sharp as the font in the menu or the statusbar. Is there anything I could do ...

Re: XBrowse and nomodal dialogs

Please, open the same table (with different alias) in both browses. Then put, in both dialogs, a button in the buttonbar with this action

ACTION MSGINFO( FIELD -> first )

From which workarea (1 or 2) it will read the field value?

Re: XBrowse and nomodal dialogs

Yes, I'm using different workareas. But the browses are dinamically created so I can't use any alias, I need that the current workarea is the one of the browse with the focus.

Can it be done?

Re: XBrowse and nomodal dialogs

I assume you are using different workareas for different browses. We can not use same workarea in different xbrowses. Switching the xbrowses does not switch workareas (does not change the selected workarea). XBrowse is also not affected by the currently ...

Re: Add a extra option to the method ToCSV

... use derived classes of xbrowse very easily. You can use the derived class for the entire application or different derived classes for different browses. Please see samples xbrchild.prg, xbrcalen.prg and xbrstgrd.prg in the samples folder.
