In Ubuntu, use the following menu path

system->Administration->synaptic package manager

Search for application
Select wine
Click Apply
(If you are a beginner it is better to use the above method)

If you want to install via console, the command is

Code: Select all  Expand view

sudo apt-get install wine

I read that FRH works with native workareas. But by now I am only a beginner.
Have a look into the docs. They are very good. There are docs about FastReport which cover
FastReport and on the FRH homepage are docs how to work from Fivewin with FR.

For a beginner it is much simpler to modify a class and compile it and link it as part of your application instead of rebuilding the entire library.
