Re: Migrating to Harbour

... .. I think it is HbCompat.ch .. something like that :( Rick Lipkin I already knew about hbcompat.ch but to use it I'd have to modify all my one thousand PRGs. :-) I tried to add #include "Hbcompat.ch" to std.ch but strangely enough it looks like Harbour doesn't read std.ch... :?: EMG

Migrating to Harbour

... I encountered was the CreateObject() function, solved by linking xhb.lib and hbwin.lib. Now a new problem: TRY/CATCH/END. Imagine you have one thousand PRGs. How to make them compilable with Harbour without spending the rest of your life in the effort? :-) EMG

Mass undelete records in a DBF-file - SOLVED

A customer of mine deleted a few thousand records in a DBF-file.

They are still there of course but they are all marked as deleted.

How can I undelete all those records?

Thank you very much in advance for any help.

Re: records disappear

Antonio,

Wouldn't your suggestion (using a backup DBF) not slow down the application enormously? In my application a few thousand new records are written every day. Some DBF-files have moren than 1.000.000 records.

Thanks.
