Re: Combobox / Combometro

Re: justify a text

... This is not to say that negative feedback can't be useful, because sometimes it is warranted. I also find that most users cannot design good user interfaces (lots of programmers can't either). It takes a lot of real effort and lots of trial and error to come up with good user interfaces. I see ...

Re: What makes difference between XBase++ Alaska and xHarbour ?

Gale, When I was working with Xbase++ there was a couple of features that I appreciated. Being able to use a mix of console and GUI interfaces in the same application really helped during the conversion process. That feature is available in Harbour too :-) (I think that xHarbour also supports ...

Re: FiveWIN xHarbour Dev enviornment in Tablet

George, we thought of that too. But I think you can use the device only in the way Antonio said remote. There are no interfaces on this device (COM, USB). So to access a printer and a scanner is not easy. Also a 9” screen is small. The whole device (Q3) for such a purpose is a little ...

Re: Improving Initial Interface

Hello Darrell,

Look into WINDOWS 8 store – there are some very beautiful and useful interfaces - and look how the interfaces will look in the near future.
Touch.prg from the FIVEWIN samples has all the elements you need.

Best regards,
Otto
