Outlook Calendar (prototype)

Fivetech can´t provide support from 3rd party software.

I am asking Daniel if he plans to sell the code.

If not, I will seek for another alternative, but if it is a FW class, always with the source code.

See the example of Canalfive. Now it is abandoned and without the source code it is not possible to use those classes with latest Harbour PCCOde and FWH.

...Canalfive ?
it is abandoned ... Why ?
I purchased all classes of Canalfive( from old grid to new vtaskbar) and I have all sources , if you purchased canalfive classes you have the source codes.
If you not have the source code perhaps you have only a lib it is very strange.
Only I cannot compile a file c5cnew.c because It is not compatible with bcc582 but I can compile good it with bc555!!!
Perhaps you're talk of Sanchez classes , he saled classes with no sources code
Best Regards, Saludos

You do have an alternative, it works, but you won't get the code. Its Codejock Calendar Control. It does it all NOW, it works, and it can give you the most current look and feel for a calendaring program.

I love included classes with FWH, but to be fair, this is a very complex project. Should Daniel stop work on everything else to do this ? I don't think that is fair. If you want a really good calendar class, try working with the 30 day trial of the Codejock calendar, and if it meets your needs, the cost is not that great.

If Daniel were to sell the code, then he would be asked to continually enhance it, and I'm not sure that is fair right now. It would be a whole lot of time and work, and it would prevent him from doing what other things are already on his agenda.

I don't want to offend ... I just think there are workable alternatives out there now, and several of us already have moved in that direction.

Great idea Silvio.

Daniel´s control can´t be a copy of CodeJock. Just with the simple features. It is only missing a full range of hours and an option to Print the timetable for a Day and Week. Nothing else!!.

If we need more options, we can modify the code or use Codejock. But we can´t expect this control to be a clone of CodeJock, which is not required at all!!!.

That is my point. For me to use Daniel's calendar, I need the ability to do the following:
- Print the current view in a report
- Modify views for a specified period of time
- Displayed Pick calendars to be for several months
- Ability to move an appointment
- Repeating entries
- Have multiple entries with overlapping times

These are what make this project so very difficult. These can all be done with Codejock ( basic Outlook emulation ). IF you can use a program like Daniels to fully meet your needs, that is great. However, if you need more, its not ( in my opinion ) fair to expect FiveTech to supply it. That's why we do use some 3rd party products.

.....
for each oCalInfo in aInfo
oCalInfo:BuildDates( aCoor[ 1 ] + nAdj + 2, ;
aCoor[ 2 ] + 10, ;
aCoor[ 3 ] - 20, ;
::nInfoHeight, ::oCalex )
nAdj += ::nDNameHeight + 2
if nAdj + ::nInfoHeight > aCoor[ 4 ]
oCalInfo:Hide() <--
endif
next
si es asi como puedo hacer para que en cuadro del dia del mes, me indique que tengo mas citas, se me ocurre que muestre una imagen o algo asi? se podra?
adjunto imagenes
