Another donation from Fernando Diez (fgondi here at the forums): 50 euros

Fernando, heartily thanks for your generosity (and your intelligence!) and to all that have already contributed. Hopefully some more of you join us so the freelancer.com developer that we hire will be highly motivated to do a great job, a job that we will all benefit from it :-)

Total amount of donations: 298 euros + 50 euros = 348 euros.

I am going to communicate it to Sinharavi (India) as he seems to be the best candidate (from the four offers that we already got).
regards, saludos

Antonio,

When considering a contractor, please look at "Completion Rate" and "Would Hire Again" percentages. For example, the person you referenced had only an 83% completion rate ( meaning 1 of 6 projects were not completed ), and only 30% of the clients would hire that person again.

Reviews always tend to focus on the negatives, but are also an important issue to discuss.

Tim,

Sinharavi candidate is only asking for 231 USD, so I see no risk at all to try it with him.

We already have the funds to hire another developer too, in case that he fails. Yesterday another company from India made an offer and they were chatting with me, they look very professional and acting like that, they quit to study it properly and give again a right offer.

In fact I don't think that any of them will fully complete it, but we will do it once we have a valid skeleton that builds fine from Visual Studio and once we publish it as open source :-)

Dear friends,

I have been considering Tim Stone's advice, and I think that the best candidate that we could choose is fattahaabdul (1.546 USD) as he has a 100% completion rate.

We just need 187 USD (138 euros) more to hire him. So please, if some of you are still considering to donate, your help is just what we need :-)

thanks to all of you for helping on this nice effort
