FWH - New Office 2007 menus !!!

Postby Antonio Linares » Sat Oct 13, 2007 1:50 pm

We are currently testing and completing the new FWH 7.11 Office 2007 menus. No need to change your source code at all :-)

If you want to test them and help to fine tune them, please send me an email and specify is you use Harbour or xHarbour. You have to be already a FWH 7.10 user in order to test them.

Antonio,

I tried compiling samples\testmenu.prg and it is quite messed up. Take a look at it.

James,

Well, its not that bad. Those bitmaps are automatically painted by Windows, and I guess most users don't use them that way

Many thanks for your feedback :-)

Mine is showing the pulldown menu wrapped instead of one vertical menu

OK, I see it has the BREAK clause and that is what is causing it. I never knew there was a BREAK clause.

Oh, nevermind...

The new menu 2007 works great. 16x16 bitmaps come out very attractively.

It is a choice of Mr. Antonio if he likes to keep the separator lines to fit width of menu breaking the vertical bar or provide a continuous vertical bar

many thanks to Mr. Antonio to have provided this new menu

There is a minor problem with popup menus. First level is not painted properly but second level onwards are painted properly

Subject to this, I applied the new menus to my regular applications and they are looking great.
