Hi Antonio,

Thanks for posting the CE6 emulator! It works great. I added local network support by binding the emulator to Micrsooft's loopback adapter installed on the host computer. That gave me connectivity back to IIS and a web service running on the host workstation.

Thanks again,

hi Antonio
thanks for registration approval.
I have a few questions about your WinCE5 emulator version:
1. Is there any way getting the system time/date automatically at start ? Like WinCE6 emulator does.
2. I tested a few Russian WinCE5 images for emulator and they had a faster refresh in Explorer. Is there something you can do about ?
3. I am using WinCE5 emulator mainly for testing GPS software prior uploading it to my PNA. But there are many cases when WinCE software authors are using their own DLL's. Is there any way of including more DLL's in your image ? Or do I have to stick to copying required DLL's near main EXE ?
Cheers

Masster,

You have to use Microsoft VS2005 in order to create these Windows CE emulator images.

We simply followed the basic steps to create those images, but technically we haven't gone any deeper. We needed a WinCE emulator and we built it.

I suggest you to download VS2005 and to create them yourself, as it has many options and components to select from :-)

Thanks, I will. Hopefully creating that image will be easy, because I am not a fan of micro$$oft programming.

Hi Antonio,

I came across this ... maybe this is useful as well.

Download an install the V1Emulator.zip first then do the efp.msi file.

Thanks for the emulators!
I have a questions regarding CE 6.0 emulator image and connection to VS2008.

1. Can you generate a CE6.0 image that supports cab install (the one you provided doesn't)?
2. I can establish a connection to VS2008 using DMA, and VS2008 transfers files to the emulator but reports error that it can't find those files (neither can I find them manually on the emulator)?
3. Can you share a complete generated SDK?

Corezero,

We built those images several years ago and we did it just once or twice.

I am afraid we have never researched for the features that you are asking for, sorry. Try to build it yourself (you have to use VS2005) its not so difficult.
