Video: PPC solution mobile ECR

Postby Otto » Wed May 13, 2009 11:00 pm

My new FWPPC solution a mobile waiter is very close to be released.

I tried to imitate touch flow handling.
For example with a touch flow to the right you start the ordering mode – to the left you
enter into billing.
Also the keyboard lock is made in this style.
I tried to make the device ”one hand operation “ a stylus is not necessary.
Please look at the incredible speed of FIVEWIN!

Thanks to all for the help.
Best regards,
Otto

Hello Otto,

Thanks for showing what can be done if one tries very hard.

What software did you use to create the video?

Your beer seems very expensive (252 Euros  )

Cheers,

Ross

Hello Ross,
thank you for your kind words.
You had really a close look to the video.
At the moment I keep the record number as price for testing purpose.
The real prices are from 2 to 2.5 €.
I have 4 groups each group has 20 subgroups and each subgroup 20 items,
in sum 1600 items.

For screen recording I use Camtasia Studio.

Best regards,
Otto

Well Otto, I consider that if you have gone to the trouble to create a video, we should look at it carefully.

Glad to hear that the beer is reasonable in price.

Best wishes,

Ross

One more question Otto if I may.

You say that you do not need a stylus and can use one hand. I just tried to hold my Dell Axim X51V with one hand and use my thumb to act as a stylus and failed. Did you really mean to say use only one hand? How is it possible?

Best wishes,

Ross

Hello Ross,
We made immediately a video to prove what I mean.
First you see the one hand operation on a HTC handy and on the 2nd video on a Symbol.
Have a look at the speed!
Have you seen the video of MS I posted the link?
Best regards,
Otto

Good morning Otto,

Many, many thanks for making the video of your "one-handed" operations. It seems that there must be a strap on the back of the Symbol and your fingers go there so that it does not fall out of the hand. Very impressive. My wife even came into my office to see your video. She was impressed also!

I have seen 3 of your videos. These two and the first one at the start of this message thread. Is that "the video of MS" that you mention?

Many thanks for your help. I am grateful.

Cheers,

Ross
