Hello friends,
Thank you all. Yes, that is exactly my fear.
Is xHarbour still an active group? It seems to me that Harbour has a much larger share.
Best regards,
Otto

... through what I needed to do. However, most of my work now is is fine tuning existing code and I can usually do that in very few minutes and have exactly what I want. I would certainly give it a try if doing something new. I actually will be focusing on a new direction: I want to create some new ...

Re: ADS Question

Hello Byron,
I checked out your website, and it appears that you have many connections/interfaces with existing systems.
This means you don't have much freedom to implement your own database design, as it is dictated by the partners.
What kind of software do you create exactly?
Best regards,
Otto

Re: Startup function

Sometimes I used @<funcname>() like this:

Code: Select all  Expand view  RUN
   p  := ( @XBROWSE() )
   ? P
   HB_ExecFromArray(  p, { "STATES.DBF" } )

Code: Select all  Expand view  RUN
p := ( @XBROWSE() )

works exactly like
Code: Select all  Expand view  RUN
p := HB_FuncPtr( "XBROWSE" )
