A Call for New Ideas and Web Integration

Post by Otto »

Hello friends,
We often have situations now where there are days without new posts. What happens then: You stop checking the forum regularly. It's actually the beginning of the end.

It's clear, we are now all experienced FIVEWINNERS, FIVEWIN is super stable, and the standard situations are solved.

But for those of us who don't just want to coast into retirement, there's a need for future topics and new incentives.

WEBVIEW would be a good gentle start into the web.

And also the behavior of some here, when someone shows a different way of how something could be solved...

Best regards,
Otto

Otto:
I agree with Marco, be patient,
it is hard to leave our comfort zone but with support, like yours,
the learning curve will be less hard.

Only a small correction: you do not have to check the forum regularly yourself, just activate the forum notifications.

I speak for myself: I develop for web since 1998 so I cannot see the web as "the future".

How Notifications Affect Our Real-Life Togetherness and Interest in Each Other: A No-Go

Dear Enrico,

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about how the constant flood of notifications affects our coexistence and our relationships.

Here are some thoughts I'd like to share and discuss:

We all know it – constant notifications distract us from what's right in front of us.

Notifications tend to lead us into quick, superficial interactions instead of deeper conversations.
This can result in investing less in real, personal relationships.

A constant stream of notifications can be overwhelming and cause stress, which can impair our ability to focus on others and show genuine interest.

Notifications can constantly confront us with the activities of others, leading to envy and dissatisfaction.

Notifications received during a conversation can interrupt it and divert attention.

Best regards
Otto

That's why you should activate only the really necessary notifications.

Thank you. I will search through ChatGPT's plugins to see if there is already a feature that can distinguish important from unimportant.
