James,
I am happy to use the Wiki ... but it is not even close to being current or accurate. I have been asking for documentation to be updated for two years at least. When I went through a major re-write of my primary application, I checked the Wiki, the Whats New listing, and this forum. When I couldn't find answers to resolve problems, I then posted them here and was advised to use a whole new format for applying some controls. Yes, I re-wrote my code in many places to do so, but I could have saved hundreds of hours if the Wiki was current.
Sadly, one of the responses has been to look at the source code to see how something works. If it was well commented, that would be helpful, but again it's not. So that means taking a lot of time to see exactly what is taking place, and then figuring the best way to apply it.
As for the help file ... every release of FWH contains a Manual folder. My offer was to create a help file ( send me the original source and all modifications ). Then each month it could be updated with the changes ( like what is in the Whats New file ), and people could have an instant reference, always current, on their programming computer. I can even create them as stand alone executables. The benefit of this is that everyone would have the help file that corresponds to their current version of FWH. We don't have to include other versions, just FWH which I believe is what most people use to produce programs.
