Outlook Email Default Formatting

All,

I am attempting to send an email from outlook because the firewall at my customer does not allow me to use the collaboration object.

My code brings up the "Untitled - Message (HTML)" dialog, but it does not reflect the same default formatting then as if I pressed the "New Mail Message" button at the upper left hand side of the Outlook Application (this button brings up what looks like exactly the same dialog).

I have tried saving the formatting I desire (Single Line Spacing, No Space Before, and No Space After) to the default format template "NormalEmail.dotm".

This does not seem to make a difference, can you create a new MailItem using the Default Formatting from NormalEmail.dotm?
