Dale,

I am aware that I insist on this from time to time, but it would much easier if you switch to free Harbour. Having to support two compilers, with different c compilers, etc its an extra job and there are very few xhb users. Maybe some of you have the sense that using a commercial version of xHarbour its safer for you, but in fact is quite the opposite as your compiler is not used by far by the amount of users that are using free Harbour.

Please consider to migrate to Harbour, thanks :-)

I don't mean that I want to push xhb users, my main intention is to easy tech support for all of us and avoid extra work :-)

Antonio,

I'm very willing to try Harbour but I'm still waiting for OLEDEFAULTARG() replacement. I can't test Harbour without it as my OLE code use that function.

Hello,

I tried to move to Harbour, but I had problems with ADS RDD and FastReport, maybe somebody here can comment about theirs experiences to work with ADS + FastReport in Harbour.

Antonio I think there are more than few users using xHb

Antonio,

thank you. If I remember correctly, you have already reported this in the past but the Harbour's developers are not very reacting... :-(

Hey Dale,

I'm using Windows 7 and FiveWin on xHarbour Builder here aso and works as expected.

This is a reduced sample with FiveWin version 13.08:

Enrico,

Daniel yesterday contacted me and we talked about it :-)

Hopefully he may be able to include it (I offered him my help) and Harbour's official repository accepts it :-)

Lets keep crossed fingers

Hi,

I see a few people have experienced the exact same issue moving xHP from Windows XP to Windows 7.

Type: C >>>xhb.exe -o"WT_KPI.c" -n-q -I"C:\XHB\include" -I"C:\XHB\include\w32" "WT_KPI.PRG"<<<

Type: C >>>Couldn't build: WT_KPI.obj<<<
Type: C >>>TMAKEOBJECT<<<
Type: C >>>TMAKEOBJECT:REFRESH<<<
Type: N >>> 1278<<<

I have reviewed some of the suggested checks - path names, access rights, etc. but cannot get my application to compile. It's really not ideal keeping an old XP laptop to support an old system we have developed. This system is still being used and occasionally needs to be modified.

Anyone manage to determine the solution to this issue?
Thanks,
Barry.

Barry,

Could you email me WT_KPI.PRG to test it here ?
