Quizá OTROS ya hayan empezado el camino. Por si puede servir como "inspiración" al futuro FiveWinRT:

Norberto,

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24374&start=0&hilit=fwqt

I am reviewing Visual Studio 2012 (already got it with licence) and I have seen that we can use native C for static libraries. That means that...

we can port Harbour to WinRT! :-)

I have been able to create a project for WinRT to build Harbour :-)

Now I am replacing the Win32 functions that we can't use due to WinRT restrictions (and we will have to look for equivalents. Using dummies for now).

I guess that for today or tomorrow, this may boot... :-)

Run Metro/Modern/Windows Store apps inside windows on desktop:

http://www.ithinkdiff.com/windows-8-ret ... u-desktop/

The app includes RetroUI Enforce, a feature that allows users to open the Start screen and Windows Store/Metro apps in a window right in the classic desktop environment. These apps can be pinned from the task screen to the retro start menu or tablet view and later launched in a desktop mode. There’s no limit to how many apps and shortcuts a user can pin to the Start menu and tablet view.
Just like traditional desktop apps, the Windows Store apps on desktop have resizeable and moveable windows and you can launch multiple apps at a time. We wonder why Microsoft didn’t think of this!
