Problems with CDX-indexes

Problems with CDX-indexes

Postby driessen » Mon Nov 23, 2015 1:24 pm

Hello,

I have some customers who are experiencing strange problems running my application on a Microsoft-server.

Here are some facts :

1. All CDX-files on the server suddenly disappear without any reason.
2. If I try to reindex the files on the server, suddenly the reindexing stops and results into an open error of the CDX-file. If I start reindexing again, it can happen to another file or it can go all right. But if I copy all the files to the local disk C, and I do the reindexing on the local disk, everything is just fine.

Does anyone has any idea what is wrong?

Thanks a lot in advance.

May be you can enable auditing and track whick process/user has deleted the file, it will give a real clue of what's going on.
