FTPPUTFILE truncado a 0 bytes

Postby Arturo Lopesoria » Sat Apr 21, 2012 1:04 am

Hi All

Im using FTP via GPRS to PutFile with Erico Maria Giordano program example.

This porgram originaly was working fine by two years, with diferent Severs, IP, User IDs, Filenames, etc..

But now, Same program, without changes, only changing parameters like IP, userid, filenames, etc. began to fail:

FAIL: FTPPUTFILE Begin Transfer File, but after 30 seconds, the file is saved in FTP server, but filelen is 0 bytes.

Possible problems:

- SERVER. Original Server Hosting was Triara provider in a UNIX server. This server was changed. Now I trying with local severs, linux and nt, and a remote server hosting in a NT server.

- WINDOWS MOBILE VERSION. Original SO was Windows MObile 5, Now new PPC Machine is using Windows obile 6.5

- CARRIER: Is Mexico Telcel with chip GSM/GPRS. Mabe Provider was change some in the platform that are incompatible ? they say there is no problem in his platform, but I think mabe...

Some Idea?

Thanks in advance
Arturo.

Please do your experiments using FTP console command. When it will work use the correct parameters you've found.

Enrico.

Thanks for your response, as always your help is very usefull.

Problem is parameters are correct, in fact only in very few of some tests the file was saved ok, but steel having same problem again in subsecuent tests with same parameters.

Always, iclusive when file was saved ok, time is very slow, typical time is more than 30 secs for a file with len less than 1k!!

It was tested changing destination filename for prevent problems with re-write premisions on server.

QUESTION IS, IF SOMEONE KNOWS RESTRICTIONS ABOUT:
- SERVER TYPE
- WIN MOBILE SO VERSION
- CARRIER TECHNOLOGY

very thanks
Arturo.
