Did You try with sample :
testmsg.prg
test-section ( add any value : text, numeric ...)
change the textvar to numeric
local cName := "Easily editing a string"
..
..
if MsgGet( "Please type your name",; // Title
"Your Name:",; // Label
@cName ) // A variable by reference
..
..

Assuming we want 4 decimal places
- Code: Select all Expand view RUN
n := 0.0000
msgGet( "title", "message", @n )
? n
