Linea:="<REPORTNUM>001</REPORTNUM>"

cField := hb_AtX( "<[^>]*>", Linea, .F. )

give me cField empty , why ?

I'm using Harbour, perhaps it is a xharbour function ?

HB_AtX(...) works both in Harbour and xHarbour.
But the first parameter should be a valid RegEx expression.
