It seems that rbdesign.prg is for Harbour only. xHarbour does not provide a function called HB_COMPILEFROMBUF().

I understand that we have different compilers, each user with their choice, this is excellent, but to compile a simple example, I need to adjust directories, because each version of BCC comes with different subdirectories for includes and libs, xharbour and harbour have their already known differences, it is too complex to build a simple example, it seems that the solution would be to migrate to Harbour and MSVC, But for legacy systems it's a nightmare.

whats the problem to install Visual Studio Community on your PC ?
