Vilian,

The example presented for the Luis functions perfectly in Pocket PC, but the used format of compacting is not compatible with the one of the Windows. We do not obtain to unpack archives zip bred in Pocket PC in the WIndows environment

Yes this is the main problem I've found using this lib. This why I decided not to use that for my ppc application.

It is accurately what I am trying to obtain. Searching in the site of lib that Luis used I found the code-source that allows the compatibility between the two ambientes(blast.c).
In the compilation some does not appear error, but when I execute it appears an error of execution that did not obtain to decide, therefore the aid order

Antonio have called to me and have talking about this issue. He has sent to me all related to this library. I will take a look as soos as possible. Also I have been working on litezip/liteunzip library with no success for PPC plaform. Main problems were conversion from unicode to ansi and viceversa. So I gess that for this new library these problems don't exist as there are no warnings at compilation time.

Unhappyly nothing.

The FiveTech does not give importance for this and without the treatment of archives zip I do not have as to send given for the salesmen.

Already I lost the customer and I am looking another option to continue the development with Pocket.

Vilian,

ZIP files management is important but please understand that FWPPC is mainly a GUI library. You can locate a ZIP management library or DLL and implement the wrappers yourself.

We want to help on this issue, once such library or DLL is located

Vilian,

A solution (not the best, but a solution):

Use pocket rar in your pocket for create a file rar (command line --> rar a \your dir\yourfile.rar \another dir\your file.dbf)

In your PC, use for example 7 Zip, to unrar the file (command line --> 7z.exe yourfile.rar)

PocketRar and 7Zip are free.

pymsoft,

What it needs is to create file in the PC and to unrar in the Pocket.

Pedro

Where did you download the pocket rar "line utility" from ? i googled and the files i have downloaded do not seem to have the line command utility.

Can you share your version of rar.exe ?

If yes please send it to me by mail richard@cbati.com
