Ramesh,

The files are the same as Enrico said.

I am going to email you the EXE. Please run it and lets see if the problem comes from the EXE or from Windows.
regards, saludos

Mr. Antonio

Thanks to you for the TEST.EXE and Mr.Enrico for his attention.

As you have suspected, the EXE did not work on WIN98 (SE) and generated savedbmp.bmp with 14 bytes. When I tested the same
EXE in WINXP Professional, it has created the savedbmp correctly.

The following is log recorded in both OSs:

Code: Select all  Expand view  RUN
Windows 98 [Version 4.10.2222]

Volume in drive C is RAMESHBABU
Volume Serial Number is 4255-1DD5
Directory of C:\

SAVEDBMP BMP            14  10-13-07  5:52p SavedBmp.Bmp
         1 file(s)             14 bytes
         0 dir(s)          421.06 MB free

****

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

Volume in drive C is RAMESHBABU
Volume Serial Number is 4255-1DD5

Directory of C:\

13/10/2007  17:57           630,074 SavedBmp.Bmp
               1 File(s)        630,074 bytes
               0 Dir(s)     487,456,768 bytes free

Ramesh,

>Is Dibwrite(..) is not compatiable with WIN98?

OK, now back in the begining of this thread you said it worked in previous versions of FWH. Are you sure, or were you actually running it on XP with a previous version of FWH, and on Win98 with a later version of FWH?

Try comparing the previous version of the dib.c file with the latest one you have. Are they the same? If so, then perhaps it never worked under Win98. Can you test and older version of your application EXE running on Win98 to see it is working?
