Outlook prompt question

Outlook prompt question

Postby cdmmaui » Mon Oct 29, 2007 5:24 pm

Is there a way for the prompt data to display complete? I am using the following syntax for prompts when I want to show prompt on two or more lines, PROMPT 'text line1' + CHR(13) + CHR(10) + 'test line2'; however the text is cutting off on the second or third lines. Also, we have noticed that the text of the last bitmap is not displaying when the bitmap is at the bottom of the display area. Can you anyone help me with this?

Darrell,

In class TOutLook (source\classes\outlook.prg) there are three constants:

#define BTN_HEIGHT 25
#define BMP_SIZE 36
#define STEP_BMP 5

You may increase BTN_HEIGHT and STEP_BMP to have more space between buttons. Please try first increasing STEP_BMP only.

Hi Antonio,

I tried that and it did not work. Are there any other options?

I find it interesting that in your graphic one of the buttons is displaying two lines of prompt, but the other two are not.

Hi James,

I am using the end of line character to force two or more lines in the prompt.
