What about a report ?

Hi all,
I am looking for a report for my FWH application;
it is important for me that the report could generate an RTF (or .DOC), XLS and PDF export.

Any experience to share about a full feature report designer ?
I am trying FastReport at this moment. What about it ?

thanks you for your reply.

I already use EasyPreview and - as preview - it runs fine.

However about EasyReport I have some doubts due especially to the fact that the last update of this product (2.1.1) is dated 28/10/2004 - will it be updated in the future ?

Furthermore using EasyPreview+EasyReport it isn't possibile to make an XLS export and the RTF/DOC "export" consists only to insert the EMF file into an RTF context so it can be managed - hardly for an end-user - throught Microsoft Word.

Hello Marco,

Timm himself uses EasyReport in his own programs. Therefore I think he is maintaining the code and also enhancing.
If I have a question Timm is responding very fast.

At the moment I don’t see much other options.
The Report you use depends also much on how you distribute your programs. If you are installing them yourself at your customer PC’s then the importance of an easy installation is not so high otherwise very important.

Also, it is updated avery month, and it is used not only from Harbour, but also from Alaska, Delphi and C programmers, so it is much stable and solid.
