This weekend I set up UEStudio and would like to share my experience.
The video is ca. 30 min. . This is a live recording. This means that within 30 min. you can install and make your first projects.

Regards,
Otto

Thanks Otto.

I only use xHarbour. Should buildx.bat work for me?.

There are bcdir variable (c:\bc55) in the buildx.bat. BC has not been
installed in my computer.

Hello Horizon,

I show in the video

1. Run the FIVEWIN samples.

If you set up a custom user tool, this would be the same as running the command from the command prompt.

uestudio.ini
This is in the uestudio.ini

Tool Cmd1="c:\fwh\samples\buildx.bat %P%N"
Tool Dir1="%P"

Your uestudio.ini file (To find your INI file, go to Advanced -> Configuration -> Application Layout -> Advanced. You should see towards the bottom of the panel the location of your INI file)

Or use <Advanced> <Tool configuration> from within UEStudio

2. How to set up for own projects

Have a look into the file
c:\UEStudio 06\configs\Harbour\application

Change this file corresponding to your current rmk file.

You can go in UEStudio to <Build><Regenerate Makefile>.

This makefile then should look very similar to your existing one.

Hello Otto.

Is your video still available to be downloaded? I tried your link from August 2008 but it is not found.

Hello Otto,

Apologies for being a "pest". I have finally gotten around to trying your video about setting up UEStudio. It is very good, but I would like to be able to run it locally without being on the internet. Is it possible to save the file on my PC? I could not find a way. Is there a download link for a zip of your video?

Thanks,

Ross
