FAQ

Hi everyone,

After buying many, many software titles, I have not seen the language that they where written on, with the exception of a couple, that I guess they are very proud of the language they developed on (Delphi)...
My understanding is that it doesn't matter what language you use, but the final application... but since I am very proud of the time and effort that (x)Harbour developers have put to it and of the attributes of the actual language, I will like to include this in the FAQ or my software...

Bayron

One of the BEST features of [x]Harbour\FWH is that the application is ( generally ) a single self contained .exe that can be deployed anywhere WITHOUT the need of any run-time libraries or dot net framework!

That one statement to most Tech or IT people means a lot.

A little suggestion:

FiveWin…
Is a xBase GUI library binding (x)Harbour Project, that provides native access to the Windows API without the need of any intermediate layer, which translates into a very fast performance.

The concept is: Windows API GUI native access, no need for intermediate layers, which means very fast execution.
regards, saludos
