Hello Uwe,
would you be so kind to explain me once again how to create an alpha channel bmp.
Maybe you can point out what I did wrong with these to bmps.

Hello Otto,
The PNG's have a Alphachannel, but they are NOT Transparent.
You can open them with Pixelformer,
next select a transparent Brush and fill the white Area.
I think GIMP includes a Function as well, to replace a defined Color with TRANSPARENT.
I will check it out.

Hello Otto,

select any Color, than move the Colorslider to the BOTTOM.
Transparent is used.
