Daniel,

Harbour is still not working fully for me. I have not been able to get it to run my Codejock Calendar software. It aborts the whole program when I try. Most FW operations work well. Of course I'm using it with MSVC 2010 !

So, my production application is still being run with xHarbour.com ( Aug 2010 ) and Pelles C.

How are QR codes activated in Harbour ?

Hello Tim, hello Daniel,
it is good seeing you both here.
Have you seen the Calender App from the Windows store.
I think this is a great Calender and we could easily clone.
Maybe Daniel could help us out with his calendar class.
Tim then you could eliminate this 3rd party stuff.

Best regards,
Otto

Otto,

A couple of years ago, Daniel worked on a Calendar app, but it became overwhelming and he had a lot of other important work. Several of us worked together to implement the Codejock calendar, and it works fine with xHarbour ( .com version ).

Then Antonio and I worked on implementing builds usining Visual Studio 2010 and Harbour. The FW code seems to work well, but I'm having problems with Codejock and perhaps other 3rd party dlls. I set it aside for awhile but need to get it going soon.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to build a new Calendar. Using Codejock, I have it enhanced as an appointment scheduler, and like the other users, we've added some significant data tracking features that make it more than a simple calendar. It also has the Outlook appearance and functionality.

Although I would love to see everything included in Five Win, thats just an awful lot of work and probably not enough time to get it all done !

Tim,
please download this Windows 8 calendar. You never ever have seen such a beautiful calendar on a PC.

Best regards,
Otto

Otto,

I re-visited the Win 8 Calendar, but it does not meet my needs.

In a service environment, we need to schedule multiple activities, and assign them to various individuals, all at the same time.
Even more important, we need to have some notes ... perhaps lengthy.
We need color flexibility on the display. For example, each service area can have its own color, and perhaps there will be multiple individuals working in that service area.

None of these are handled in the Win 8 Calendar ...

The QR code is a type of matrix barcode designed for the automotive industry. More recently, the system has become popular outside of the industry due to its fast readability and comparatively large storage capacity. We can set links for the pages for focusing customers. They used to provide links for the product discounts, Coupons for verifiable security. Authentication codes for service/prepaid cards and also for special business offerings. Produce some more attachments for the more detailed view.
