Does the DBFCDX driver provided with Harbour use TCP/IP?

Postby PatrickWeisser » Fri May 18, 2007 9:16 am

Hello Everyone,

I believe the old Commix driver we were using for our 16-bit Clipper application required IPX/SPX/Netbios-compatible network protocols for shared use on a LAN, so we used to tell our customers to load those network protocols in addition to the standard TCP/IP. Does anyone know if the DBFCDX driver provided with Harbour still requires the old Novell LAN protocols, or does it simply need TCP/IP for multi-user DBFCDX access on a LAN?

Thanks!
