Advice on image capture needed.

Advice on image capture needed.

Hi,

One of our clients have asked if we could capture an image from their cctv system. We have asked the cctv company for details on how to do this and they sent the following reply:

We can confirm that there is currently a camera viewing the Weighbridge connected to the CCTV System. In our recent visit the Engineer installed a Video Splitter Unit which now feeds an image from this camera into the On Site Digital Video Recorder and a further output which is now available for your own purpose of inserting a cameo onto the Weighbridge data. This output is terminated with a BNC plug on an approximate three metre lead in preparation to connect to a composite video card that would be required on the PC for this purpose.

Has anyone else done anything similar to this and have any advice on retrieving an image from a video card?

Thanks in advance

Pete

Antonio

When I try to open the file I receive the following message:
"The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted"

Regards,

George
