Mime format to place and extract any kind of data from memo

I need to save and to extract in a memo all kind of data.
I think the best way is to work with Mime formats.
Does anyone have any examples how to save and to extract mime files to a memo field or a email message ?

I would like to use the standard format used for email messages.

Any ideas ?
