FiveWin and Excel

FiveWin and Excel

Postby Jeff Barnes » Sat Jan 30, 2010 12:06 am

Hi,

I have run into a situation and I hope someone knows how to solve it....

I use excel to create reports for my program.

In Win XP it all works fine.

When I try it on Vista or Windows 7 the report generation is very slow.

I posted a message on the Mr. Excel forum but no replies yet ...

Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?

I'm not doing anything special, just adding data to cells with code like:

oSheet:Cells( nRow, nCol ):Value := "Some Data"
Thanks,
Jeff Barnes

Try to temporarily disable the antivirus.

Brand new install of Win7 - no anti-virus installed

UAC is off
Tried both Excel and My app set to run in compatibility mode (Win XP sp2)
Tried different versions of Excel (97, 2003, 2007)
Thanks,
