Database vs File system storage

Postby Otto » Sun Jan 16, 2022 10:25 am

Here is a statement:
Historically, databases were created when the filesystem provided by the OS were not good enough for the problem at hand.

mod harbour changes so much for us FIVEWINNERS.
We have our data on a single machine and use it like on a standalone system.

What do you think?
Best regards,
Otto

Dear Otto,

We have the freedom to use DBFs and/or any other database engine

Harbour is as powerful on the web as it is on the desktop :-)
